  • Music Theory Course for Adult Beginners (ages 18 onwards) Autumn Term

    Unleash your musical potential with our 8 week course designed to equip you with the fundamentals of reading and writing music notation. This would suit adult beginners who wish to gain a deeper understanding of music and their instrument, and those with some basic knowledge wanting to expand a bit further.

    You will be invited to answer a few theory questions on registration to help us to put you into the correct level group. The course spans a total of 8 weeks, and you will take a mock exam to get a better idea of what your theory knowledge is currently at!

    £100 for the full course, mock paper and Exercise book included in the price .

  • Jazz improv for beginners

    If you are a novice musician, and you’ve always wanted to learn how Jazz musicians just get up and play along - this workshop is for you.

    Designed specifically for adult beginners, we welcome students of all disciplines (except drums, sorry) to come and have a go at the fundamentals of making it up as you go along!

    This proved to be a very popular workshop the last time we ran it, and thanks to the feedback we had, we have managed to tailor it even more to your specifications, meaning it will be much more accessible for all.

    In collaboration with Gold Music Tuition, our popular performance workshop returns.

    Structured around the ABRSM examination framework, this workshop isn't just aimed at students taking exams, but rather anybody interested in gaining performance experience.

    There are 6 participant slots per workshop, and the option for observation, which is on a Pay As You Feel basis.

    In collaboration with Gold Music Tuition, our Aural Clinics are built around ABRSM examination framework but are not exclusive to those taking exams. For anybody wanting to learn how to understand music on a more technical basis, these Aural Clinics are incredibly useful.
